How to Apply for the Gift of Gab Scholarship
Serving Sacramento High Schools
- Year 2025: Natomas Charter School (NCS)
- Year 2026: NCS, Inderkum, and Grant High Schools
- Year 2027: NCS, Inderkum, Grant, John F. Kennedy, and Hiram W. Johnson High Schools
- Dedicated to graduating Seniors in High School
- Minimum Grade Point Average requirement of 3.0
- Scan the QR Code below for the Google Form to apply
- Complete the Google Form to include basic information and attachments requested below
- Submit a portfolio of related evidence such as the following:
- Photo documentation
- Video clips
- Answer the following questions:
- How has Hip-Hop culture driven you?
- What does your artform mean to you?
- How do you plan to use this scholarship to support your efforts after high school?
- Student should have a minimum of one personal or professional reference that can celebrate the experiences and/or contributions of this student to Hip-Hop culture. Students may not use a member of the Scholarship process as a reference (i.e. Tony Parker, Jim Vetter, Gareth Love)
- Award Ceremony and Scholarship Announcement on 5/28 from 6-8pm
